Electro Swing Artists Get Creative At Home!

It’s a tough time for all of us. In the Corona crisis we sit at home and eat, read, skype, stream videos and listen to music. There aren’t that many options. And all artists are in the same situation, all gigs were canceled, but boredom creates great new ways of entertainment. Deladap feaft. Melinda Stoika – Don’t Turn Around (Unplugged)

Stani Vana, leader and producer of Deladap from Austria has recorded an unplugged song on his guitar with singer Melinda Stoika, both of whom are sitting in their home studios and are connected via video conference!

Emma Clair from UK mixed a great Disco Swing and Swing House set for you. And Groovy Joy from Spain (Pep’s Show Boys) feat. Rosantique from Italy on vocal performance, streamed a live mix on their Facebook channel over the weekend!

Electro Swing Collabo Track

Vassili Gemini from France presented a great idea for a Collabo Track in which every musician and producer can participate. He has already recorded a guitar with chords and now anyone who wants can add and join. A great idea, we le like it a lot! Here is his input for the project!

“Hi !
As said in the video with my very bad english (please don’t slap me), to kill the confinement time, we could try to do an Electro Swing track all together ! The rule is simple :

– you record a loop of your instrument, a beat, a synth,a vocal or whatever you want
– someone will download everything and arrange it
– someone will mix & master it

I began with a guitar loop with the following keys :
D / Em / A7 / D
D / Em / F# / Bm

At 85 bpm, so it can perfectly fit in a breakbit track but also in a swing’n’bass one. I also tried and it’s not bad to 120bpm. So we can imagine differents versions, like remixes, following the ideas of every body 📷:

I also thought that we can release it for free, or with a free donation (bandcamp…) and give it to some members who lives exclusively from music and live events. I don’t want to decide but it’s an idea ^^”
