Charleston – Dance Tutorials With Smilin
(Episode 04) Electro Swing Academy

And here comes our fourth Electro Swing Academy episode of our dance tutorial series. It’s the Charleston! The classic among the dances from the beginning of the Roaring Twenties, which had its most popular period from 1926-1927. Dancer & Tutor Smilin invites us today, how the Charleston can be integrated in a current, casual and modern way to hot bouncing Electro Swing beats. Most important thing: don’t forget to #Smile! 😀 🔥 💃 🎩 🙌

1. Start position: stand shoulders wide

2. Move your heels to the inside and outside and create a „V“

3. Now combine those steps while doing two steps forward and two steps back
(whenever you step, your heel goes in)

4. To generate more energy, use your swinging arms

TIP: Everybody loves Charleston! 😎

Next Dance Move: #VStep

If you have any questions, ideas or requests, feel free to write them in the comments. Now have fun watching, learning and dancing. Let’s do the Swing! #ElectroSwingDance 🔥 💃 🎩 🙌
