Emma Clair

Emma Clair is a DJ, Promoter, and Producer from Manchester. Emma has quickly made a firm imprint in the contested Manchester club scene. Her very own ‘Prohibition’ parties have played a vital role of making the genre of festival favourite ‘Electro Swing’ accessible to the masses.

Emma has been consistently playing the length of the UK and beyond, from London’s ‘Ministry of Sound’ and ‘414 Club Brixton’, to Manchester institutes of ‘Sankey’s’ and ‘Joshua Brooks’. Emma has also played in venues across the UK including ‘Bowlers’, ‘Band On The Wall’, and ‘Victoria Warehouse’, in Manchester, ‘The Rainbow Rooms’, Birmingham for Swingamajig Festival, ‘The Old Crown Court’, Bristol, ‘Invisble Wind Factory’, Liverpool, ‘The Red Gallery’, London, and ‘Rough Trade’, Nottingham. Emma has also been booked in Ibiza, Prague, Berlin, and Geneva.

Her energetic, eclectic and crowd-pleasing style has led to Emma being on the same roster as some of the UK’s most revered dance acts such as Plump DJs, Krafty Kuts, Utah Saints, and even handing over to one of the godfather’s of house music – Marshall Jefferson. Emma is also no stranger to the festival scene appearing at Bulgaria’s ‘Big White Powder Festival’ and for 4 years running has played at the UK’s acclaimed ‘Beat-Herder’ Festival.

A regular on the radio circuit with past shows highlighted on various UK platforms including Reelhouse TV, Pure 107.8 FM, Generate, Radio Frequency and her very own continued radio podcast ‘Prohibition’ on iTunes and Spotify.

Emma has been working solidly for the past few years on her production skills, with an early collaboration with Josh Butler, to several other high profile collabs with the likes of LA’s Atom Smith. Emma’s ability and flair in the studio isn’t going unnoticed. Further releases on ‘Freshly Squeezed’ and ‘Dirty Volt’ only confirm her talent.

2019 will be a big year for Emma Clair with her own promotions gaining momentum and an ever-growing audience. Several gigs including a return to ‘Swingamajig Festival’ later this year are already scheduled and Emma has a near full production schedule forecast.
