Sacha enjoys mixing different styles and genres together during his sets (Anything from 30s Swing Jazz to the latest remixes, obscurities from around the World to well known Classics). Sacha adapts his set for each new occasion.

That said, Sacha is reputed for being one of the pioneers and specialists of Balkan Gypsy, Electro Swing and Global Beats djing in the UK. He co-founded and is the resident DJ of “Stranger than Paradise”, the legendary Gypsy Burlesque monthly event, held presently at the Hootananny Brixton, London. Sacha also holds residencies at The Magic Garden, Rowans and at A Curious Invitation events.

His mix “(S)winging it” is in the Top 3 most played Electro Swing mixes on Soundcloud, with over 835k plays.

He has performed at events like the Electro Swing Club (Paris), Electro Swing Revolution (Berlin), Electro Swing River (Prague), White Mink (London), Party like Gatsby (Copenhagen), Rumpus, Secret Cinema, Morning Gloryville, Goulash Disko, Anti-Tapas, White Mischief, Movimientos, Small World NYE and the London Burlesque Festival.

Sacha has shared the bill with the biggest acts in his field, artists like Caravan Palace, Parov Stelar, Caro Emerald, Fanfare Ciocarlia, Boban Markovic, Shantel, Balkan Beat Box, Mahala Rai Banda, Bart & Baker, DJ Click, Amsterdam Klezmer Band, Dunkelbunt, Eugene Hutz (Gogol Bordello), Ivo Papasov. But also Seun Kuti, Roots Manuva, Dandy Warhols, Miss Dynamite, Trojan Sound System, Jerry Dammers (The Specials), The Correspondents and General Elektriks.

Occasionally, Sacha organises events too like the Balkan Brass Battle (Fanfare Ciocarlia vs Boban Markovic) after party at the Komedia, Brighton and the Gogol Bordello after party with Eugene Hutz djing.

Other gigs of note include: Djing for the BBC3 World Music Awards after party at the Barbican, the Cuban Music Awards and the Balkan Fever Festival.

Sacha’s International bookings have taken him to Berlin, Prague, Dublin, Valencia, Segovia, Madrid, Rome, Milan, Genova, Ariano Irpino, Brussels, Split and Komiza (Croatia) and Salzburg. All adding to his previous International commitments: Paris, New York, Hamburg, Montreal, Marrakesh, Mykonos, Sintra (Portugal).

Festivals he’s performed at: Glastonbury, Boomtown (2015, 16, 18), Wilderness, Bestival, Electric Picnic, Secret Garden Party, Ariano Folk Festival, Shambala, Glade, Isle of Wight, La Linea, Goulash Disko, Paradise Gardens and Womad in 2016-2018.
