Portland’s Sepiatonic has long been astounding audiences with their rollicking theatrical concoctions that blend Vaudeville, Balkan beats, and electronic elements with live instrumentation, and colorful dance and performance elements. Their newest release features two remixes from UK Bass masters Crash Party and Mr. Biggz. Mr. Biggz delivers a Glitch Hop take on their earlier single release, “Step up”. Crash Party’s remix of their single “Trailer Swift” takes the Electro Swing/Synth Pop confection and turns it into a Bassline party banger.
Infectious grooves and catchy hooks are the back bone to the Crash Party sound. Funky breaks, 4-on-the-floor beats, big basslines and classic samples are a staple of his sets and productions. Crash Party’s music has been a firm favorite in the sets of some heavy hitters across the world with continual support from the likes of WBBL, Featurecast, Dutty Moonshine, JFB and Hong Kong Ping Pong, to name but a few. He has releases on Ghetto Funk, Scour Records, Cuttin’ It Fine, Dead2Me Records, Particle Zoo and Breakbeat Paradise Records.
Mr. Biggz is a newcomer to the Electro Swing / glitch funk / glitch hop scene. He brings an irresistible party vibe, funky bass, bangin’ beats, tasty mash-ups and some good old fashioned dirty-raucous fun!
