iSwing Top 50 – August 2021 by JC JSum

Welcome back to the blog, I’m your host JC JSum. The Hebbe Sisters and Wolfgang Lohr hit the #1 spot last week with their hot Summer remake of, “It Don’t Mean A Thing.” Will the swinging hit stay on top for a second week? Keep browsing.

In the Top 10, Deladap‘s Summer hit, “Summer Rain,” falls to 10 featuring Melinda Stoika to start off the countdown. Szigeti Juli stay at 9 for a second week with their latest hit, “Freedom.”

Good Co’s, “Beggin’ (Emma Clair Remix),” is still climbing. It stops at 8 this week. 11 Acorn Lane’s, “Fly,” falls to number 7. And “Mad Swing,” from DJ Mibor slips to 6. This week’s Big Swinging Shoutout goes to…

…Mista Trick & Fizzy Gillespie – Disco Rollers Volume. Taking 70s rarities and mashing them with Drum & Bass beats works for Swing, why not Disco. Fizzy Gillespie and the man who’s everywhere at the moment, Mista Trick, dip into the record crate and give us some bangers worthy of after midnight shenanigans, remixed for a new generation.

Disco Rollers Volume 1 is on Swing N Bass. Little Violet‘s, “Roll The Dice,” jumps up to number 5.
Jamie Berry and Octavia Rose, make it to number 4 with, “Make Me Believe.” Mista Trick’s, “Drive,” is the only new entry in the Top 10. It jumps from 11 up to 3 and features Elle & The Pocket Belles on some sizzling harmonizing.

The Top Swinging Entry in the Top 50 this week belongs to Madam Misfit. Her song celebrating our planet, “The Wombling Song,” comes in at number 23. “Meet Me At Sunrise,” from LVDS and Sonia Elisheva edges up to number 2.

And The Hebbe Sisters’ insanely delicious collaboration with Wolfgang Lohr, “It Don’t Mean A Thing (Electro Swing Mix),” stays at Number 1 for a second week.
