iSwing Top 50 – May 2021 by JC JSum
Welcome back to the Top 50, I’m your host JC JSum. Everyone’s favourite address, 11 Acorn Lane topped our chart last week with, “Crazy Cat.” Will they hang on for a second week? But first the Top 10, and at number 10 are Speakeasy Streets again for a second week. “Don’t Wither,” featuring Etai Benson, stays at number 10.
Disco flavoured bopper, “Don’t Stop,” from Szigeti Juli climbs into the Top 10. It jumps 14 to 9.
Zouzoulectric slips to number 8. The former Number 1 slips from 2. Last week’s Number 1 also drops. “Crazy Cat,” by 11 Acorn Lane lands at 7. Alanna Lyes and Atom Smith are flying up the chart with, “Disappear.” It moves 15 to 6 in just its second week.”
And last of the three new entries to the Top 10 this week is Klischée with banger, “Get This (Bang Bang),” coming in at 5. Top Swinging Entry in the Top 50 this week goes to Wolfgang Lohr and newcomer DanyloM with, “Ballade No. 1“ It’s new at 35.
This week’s Big Swinging Shoutout goes to…
…Masha Ray. The Electro Swing duo dazzled us last year when they teamed up with Balduin for the massive Summer hit, “Dirty Dazzler.” They just dropped their album, Electro Swing, and it is absolutely delicious. Strong production, upbeat tracks, Masha’s golden voice and the perfect blend of Pop, Jazz and Swing. This album might be one of the best of the year. Masha Ray’s, Electro Swing, is on Berlin Production Music. Their hit from the album, “Keep Falling,” continues climbing stopping at number 4 this week.
Swingrowers’, “Follow The Stars,” stays at number 3 for a third week. DJ Mibor and Tallulah Goodtimes‘ smokin’ collaboration, “Dance Into My Dreams,” jumps to 2.
And Electric Swing Circus climb to Number 1 with, “Connected (Featurecast Remix).” It’s the first time hitting Number 1 for both acts.
