A whole host of new singles released, studio albums and live albums – that’s what March was like! Full of fantastic musical surprises, great news and new collaborations. As I do every month, I have prepared for you a whole lot of news from the Electro Swing world, a list of songs and albums released in March, and some information that will surely come in handy if you are planning to go to a concert. 😊 I’m happy to present to you my 19th article in the Electro Swing News series!

Quick Electro Swing News

A huge success for The Soulmate Project! On the 8th of March we released The Soulmate Project‘s new single, ‘Be Yourself’. I don’t know if you know, but this wonderful song was selected for a huge sustainable energy campaign by Hanwha Group. Their video already has over 50 million views on YouTube, and in the comments dozens of people have asked for the title of this song and written lots of positive feedback about the song. We wholeheartedly congratulate Roman Andor on this achievement and keep our fingers crossed for more such successes!
On 2nd of April, I fulfilled my biggest dream – I went to the Caravan Palace concert especially in Brussels. Apart from the fact that the show was simply perfect, I also got the opportunity to go to the backstage and talk to the band for a while. How about we publish a report on this event soon? Have you heard yet that the Deluxe team is holding its own festival? The Super Moustache Festival, as it is referred to, will take place on the 13th and 14th of September this year in Aix-en-Provence, France. The programme for this event is due to be published in a few days and I’m very curious to see what this fantastic band has prepared for their fans!
And on top of that, Deluxe have published new tour dates: they will play in France, Belgium and Luxembourg. You can buy tickets HERE.
LMZG have also published dates for their spring/summer tour. For now, it is known that they will perform in France, but I for one hope they can play their show somewhere else in Europe. 😊 You can buy tickets HERE.

Electro Swing Live Album Releases – March 2024

It’s been a long time since there have been so many Electro Swing albums released as in March this year! Two studio albums, two live albums and one Swing & Bass EP – I love such variety. I’m happy to recommend some of my favourite tracks to you and tell you a few words about these great albums. To start with, I’ve put together some live performance albums for you.

LMZG – ‘BACK TO THE LIVE’ – 1st of March. I was very fortunate to be at the LMZG show in 2022 (you can read our report of that show HERE) and saw for myself how great they are on stage, have a great rapport with the audience and give 200% of themselves. It was a pleasure to listen to their live album “BACK TO THE LIVE”. I warn you that once you listen to these recordings, you will want to buy tickets for their concerts immediately – which I wholeheartedly encourage you to do!
Deluxe – “Live au Zénith Paris – La Villette” – 29th of March. I cannot describe how much I love their songs, the energy, the perfectly produced music, the outstanding musicians and her… The vocalist, Liliboy, who has such an outstanding and distinctive vocal that it is absolutely impossible to forget her. The album “Live au Zénith Paris – La Villette” is simply brilliant. Almost two hours of musical feast in the rhythm of electronic music in the style of French Touch, funk and a touch of Electro Swing with a mega characteristic brass section in the forefront. Don’t just listen to it, watch it on YouTube, because this is true musical cosmos!

Electro Swing Album Releases – March 2024

I’ve already told you about the live albums, and now I’ll write you a list of the studio albums released in March.

Caravan Palace – ‘Gangbusters Melody Club’ – 1st of March. After five years since the release of the album ‘Chronologic’, Caravan Palace are back in a big way and provide us with lots of fantastic electronic sounds, a unique Electro Swing vibe and above all excellent songs that immediately stole my heart. And I think yours will too. 😊 I love all of these songs, but I’ve been listening to ‘Mirrors’, ’81 Special’, ‘Portobello’ and ‘City Cook’ the most lately.
Odd Chap – “Collaborations” – 1st of March. I really like the idea of this album – Odd Chap has invited some excellent Electro Swing artists to collaborate with him and has released an album that contains a whole range of both danceable, highly energetic and somewhat melancholic and peaceful tracks. It is very hard to choose the best songs in this case, but if I had to pick a few, I would definitely recommend you “Our Game Is Over” (with Loredana Grimaudo and Ciro Pusateri), “Follow Me” (with J Fitz) and “Come On!” (with Ashley Slater).
Twin Mono – ‘Crime of the Century’ (EP) – 11th of March. This Swing & Bass style EP was released on Ragtime Records and if you like this type of music, you will definitely be satisfied. The three tracks on this EP are a real energy bomb and I guarantee you won’t sit still while you listen to it!
